AI Champions
Name the people in your company who are most enthusiastic about AI, give them the mandate, and let them spread adoption for you.
You already have people who spend their evenings playing with new AI tools — often not the most senior ones. Instead of letting that energy stay private, elevate it: name them your AI champions and make the enthusiasm an official role. Adoption spreads much faster through peers showing each other cool things than through top-down mandates.
The mandate
- Trial the big new tools as they land, so the rest of the company doesn't have to.
- Act as internal consultants: go department to department and recommend concretely how AI could change how each team works.
- Share what's working — demos, wins and cool discoveries — with the whole team on a regular beat.
- Feed the explore and trial steps of the AI adoption cadence.
Seniority is not the qualification — enthusiasm is. Giving a passionate junior person the AI champion badge is also a cheap, high-leverage development opportunity.
